I am looking for someone who wants to have kids with me. Yes, I am 56, but I expect to live to 100, as some of my ancestors have on both sides. I watch my health, and would want a healthy mate. I have a job that keeps me very active, so my hobbies lean to mental. Computer art goes well with the pictures I take on trips. Vacations have been 2,000 to 3,000 mile driving loops in my old truck. I concerted it for travel, and it have been very functioal that way. I read a lot, a thousand or so books so far mostly Sci-fi/fantasy. I have a BS in Botany, my studies included a wide range of subjects. (I put in a couple years after the degree in my area of specialization- Mycology.) Trips in the old truck has included Shakespeare, finding waterfalls, Visiting volcanos, digging for gemstones, visiting parks.
Social, I have been described as socially lazy, but I have been complimented on my hosting skills. Recently, we had a family get together for my sister's twin's birthday here at 'The Estate'. It had an indoor party and an outdoor 'escape' around the fire, an area, with quiet and 'smores. This is getting to be more of the social season here, a time when people are not doing so much vacationing and high country outings or service work.

I like first dates to someplace to walk and talk. Around a mall, on a beach, more or less a day trip, with enough time to exchange goals, values, and things in common. The shorter 'coffee dates' seem like to cover stuff that could be covered by an email or a phonecall. Since, my goals are what tends to get me shot down most often, I state them up front. I tend to be very open, if you ask me a question, you might get more detail then most people expect. I do enjoy chats with most people, but I am looking for a wife.
