I'm in the process this month of finalizing my divorce, and have been separated for one year. I'm the mother of 2 wonderful girls who live with me most of the time. They are the apples of my eyes and I enjoy having "girls night out" with them on occasion.

I work full-time in the non-profit and public education sector. I love my job and I work with a huge group of teachers at a bunch of different schools in and around Austin. My job allows me to be somewhat flexible with my time, and I get to move around (daily) quite a bit.

I'm athletically fit and enjoy working out, swimming, running, biking, and anything else outdoors in and around Austin. I love the night light and music scene here, but I'm not a big party girl. A quiet dinner at home watching a movie and drinking a glass of wine or two is ideal. Before I was married and began having my children, I loved fly-fishing, golfing, and playing tennis, so now I'm trying to reconnect with those activities.

I'm a throwback to the 80's...love the alternative "first wave" stuff(like The Fixx,Cure, Cult, U2), but also enjoy other genres such as Cake, The Tragically Hip, Rush, Blackeyed Peas, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lucinda Williams, Raul Malo, Hank Williams, Bob Marley, etc., I think you get the picture. I'm also a sucker for musicals.

First dates, let's see...the only ideal first date is anywhere, anytime, and it leaves you wondering when you'll get to see and talk to the other person again! I do like the idea of chatting at a nice quiet, public place over dinner or coffee, though. Guess I'm old-fashioned, and online dating is a bit scarey.
