Ok... about me...

Well, I like to get outside as much as possible. I am happiest in the mountains, and spend as much time there as possible. Climbing is my favourite thing to do, rock in the summer, and ice in the winter, and getting in to mountaneering as well. I also love snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, and anything else I can do in the mountains. I would really like to try canoeing (I've done it once) and kayaking. I love camping as well.

As for me, I'm generally pretty easygoing, shy at first, with a dry sense of humour. I know what I want, but sometimes my easygoing-ness comes across as indecisiveness. I can be direct if I need to be, but generally am very concientious and sensitive of others peoples needs feelings. I can also play the tough guy if needed, and am a great problem solver. I'm also the kind of person that is just as comfortable on the streets of New York as I am scaling a remote ridge somewhere. I can go out to the pub for a few pints just as easily as polishing off a nice bottle of wine in a nice restaurant, or by the side of a river after a good day's climbing!

My job keeps me very busy. I travel pretty much all the time, so don't get home a whole lot, so I'm not looking for dating, more just hanging out when I'm home, somebody to run out to the mountains with, or go for a bike ride, climbing gym, or whatever. I'm lucky enough to be one of those people who really loves their job, and it is a very cool job, but can be stressful at times. That's why I fill my time off with all those activities. My time off keeps me balanced in life, therefore I think I get the most out of that time.I love the adventure I get in everything I do.

As for you, what I'm looking for, like I said is somebody to hang with and go do things with. Somebody who is easygoing, and loves to have fun. Somebody who's not necessarily into the things I do, but would like to try them with an open mind and a mind for adventure. Somebody who has their own life, and gets the most out of everything they do. Somebody happy, who is well balanced, grounded and intelligent. An eclectic music taste helps as well, and a love for road trips! I feel those two go hand in hand. If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you!
