I have a very interesting full-time office job, as well as a horse business. I also do a lot of volunteer work when there's time. I lead a busy life but there's always room for that special someone. I'm extremely independent and don't need a man to "take care of me" but I do enjoy having someone to lean on from time to time and share life's ups and downs. I'm highly romantic in nature, but practical as well. I have a great sense of humor and always enjoy a good laugh. Many of my friends who are parents tell me I am really great with kids. Have never been married, though I've come close once or twice. Just never found that absolutely right combination of things to solidify a relationship that way. But not for a lack of trying. I'd say I'm a successful person. I enjoy all kinds of music, but mainly rock and country. I love all sorts of activities in addition to horse stuff, I love wine tasting, live music, outdoor and indoor events. Not big into the bar scene, I think I burned myself out on that in my 20's! But do enjoy going out on the town once in a while. I enjoy Vegas and Atlantic City and even Charles Town. Not a big habit but I love the thrill of all that action. I enjoy movies, not just chick flicks but also definitely horror/thrillers too. I'm happy being out, I'm happy being home, I'm pretty well-rounded in that way.

I have great friends and family but there's just that one thing that's still lacking ... a person can surround themselves with all the great things in life but without someone to share them with, its a little boring sometimes. :) I am hoping to meet someone who's intelligent, witty, attractive (in my eyes anyway), friendly and happy with their life and what they do in it.

Not looking to deal with my baggage or anyone else's, there's enough drama in life as it is, but I do think that we learn from our past experiences, good and bad, and can hopefully build something positive from them. Life can be a wonderful journey! But sometimes it doesn't feel that way. The perfect partner would be someone who can ride the waves with me.

I am a very casual person. I don't expect to be wined and dined (though that's very nice!). I enjoy doing a wide variety of activities. To me, the most important thing is the opportunity to get to know my date a little better and hopefully make it into that comfort zone where you are laughing and having a great time and hardly realize how much time has gone by. Doesn't matter where or how that happens.
