About Me
My students think it would be a good idea if I met a nice girl and socialized, thus reducing the amount of homework I assign. (It's difficult to argue with their logic.) So, where to go from here? In "High Fidelity," DJ Rob Gordon opined, "What really matters is what you like, not what you are like. Books, records, films, these things matter." I agree all too well with this viewpoint. I enjoy hockey games (I am a former Detroiter ... "Go Wings!"), dancing, dining out, bowling, movies (Monty Python, Mel Brooks and Star Wars, among others), firing up the barbeque, spending quality time with family and friends, and an ecelctic variety of music (with Tom Petty at the top of the list), Jaxson's in Dania, Islands of Adventure in Orlando, watching "Law & Order" on TNT, and devising creative ways for Israelis to get along with Palestinians, Indians to get along with Pakistanis, and North and South Korea to reunite. I am looking for someone with similar interests, who has a sense of humor but also follows local, national and world events. Someone who would like to share quality time with a true mensch. Someone confident and secure with herself; I'm looking for a life partner, not someone who needs an emotional crutch (been there, survived that). I seek my best friend and soulmate, with whom to journey life's most wonderful adventuers.
First Date
My perfect first date? It's not the place or the activity that matters most, but the connection that (hopefully) takes place. Good conversation, laughter, and chemistry are essential. What we do with it is what makes or breaks the time together.
