Live, love, laugh… that’s my motto. If you try to balance out your life with all three tends to make for a happier person.

Well, here it goes, what to say about myself and what I am looking for (Some days it’s my sanity. Did I mention that I teach third grade?) ::grin::


I've been in Colorado for about 16 years now, but still have a hint of my southern accent (grew up in NC).I have a career, that I love. I teach 3rd grade (if you can listen to a few of my student stories, that automatically gets you some brownie points).


A few more tidbits about me:

Can be comfortable in a pair of jeans going on a hike/walk, hanging out with my friends, horses, bbqing, time at the park to take in a game of volleyball, taking in an outdoor concert and such. Don’t worry, I clean up nicely….love a great dinner with good conversation or maybe a movie.

Growing up in the south, I learned to be myself, have a sense of purpose, learned to be kind and respectful to others and to show a bit of grace and gratitude. I also have a wicked sense of humor and a bit sassy sometimes (just makes me a little more interesting).

Other interests....visual arts (drawing, photography, painting), music, road trips, volunteering, the occasion belly dance class, tend to be curious(like learning new things), enjoying the CO seasons (walks, hikes, horses/carriages, etc.),good friends, good conversation, dining at a new restaurant / or enjoying the local dive, cooking, a good book, pool, movies, bowling, sporting events from time to time, cuddling up on a cold winter morning.


What am I fishing for...

I appreciate a man who is honest, not into playing games and has a sense of self. A man who is intelligent and can hold his own in a conversation, but can also be a good listener. Someone that isn't afraid to be a man when he needs to be, but also has a good heart. Someone that enjoys the simple pleasures in life, but also appreciates new experiences/interests. Someone that has a good work ethic, but also knows how to laugh and have some fun.
And a sense of humor, wit mixed in with a dash of charm is always a plus. Don't worry I can take being picked on a bit. LOL!

Just would like to meet some great people and if that special person comes into my life, just see where it goes.
