Hello and thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. I would like to find someone who shares my interests in the outdoors such as camping, hiking, and bicycling. Someone with whom I could go for a run and then enjoy a nice dinner out with some good wine. I can be a tomboy at times, but I feel equally comfortable wearing a nice little black dress out at night.
I’m told by friends that I am intelligent, funny, sarcastic, and at times, a bit of an odd character. But what can I say, in this down economy I can only afford to pay them a small smidgen of what they are worth!
Seriously though ... I have a degree in mathematics and have worked in the fields of education and publishing over the last 15 years. I will be starting graduate school in January for an MBA at a university in Boston. I would prefer someone who has a college education and understands that a successful career sometimes takes work, dedication, and on occasion ... luck. I think being an educated and independent woman is important, especially since I am looking for the same in a friend/partner.
Looking back over the past fifteen years or so, I can say that I prefer to take the road less traveled. I have been fortunate to have had two wonderful careers and am looking forward to my third. If you are looking for someone who always follows the rules and does what is expected of her all the time, then we will not be a good fit. I make personal and professional decisions, in part, using common sense and my own moral compass. After all, in the end I have to wake up and look myself in the mirror every day! ;)
If you are still interested, please send me an email and we can chat. If not, good luck with your search! :)
I think a nice casual coffee/drink, or perhaps a walk around town, would allow both people the chance to see if there is any chemistry before moving forward.
