You should know that I'm the worst Plenty of Fish User you've ever clicked on. I can't help but send girls confusing and odd messages. It just doesn't feel real to me. I hate having to look at your Profile description, note an interest in scrap booking, and message you about your amazing hobbies and horseback riding talents. "Hey Julie, so you like scrap booking and horses? How awesome. I love that stuff too. And you're from Pacoima? Great. Any cats? I would just love to get to know you, take you out for some sh_tty ice cream and talk about your stupid cats and your idiot scrap booking problem.

Sorry. That was out of line. I'm really not an angry person but I play one on Plenty of Fish. It's fun.
Anyway, what do you want to know about me? Just ask, really. You don't even have to be attracted to me. You can just ask me a question. Even if it's just to talk. I mean I do that all the time on this site. I don't intentionally seek out attractive girls and try to strike up a conversation....

I hope you didn't just believe me. That's all I do. It doesn't really work but at least I give it a half-assed try. The only messages I ever get are from my Mom who is a genius computer hacker. She has somehow figured out a way to infiltrate this site. She creates fake profiles of beautiful woman & sends me a message saying: "I think you are hot". Then when I get down to the last line in the description of the profile - she writes: "You idiot - it's me your Mother. I have fooled you again. Stop this pathetic search and save up some money for a hooker. Or come out of the closet - I don't know, just do something different... before you die." As you can see she's pretty hard on me.

And while I'm being honest, on a completely unrelated topic: here's my one piece of POF advice. If you value your ego, don't ever go to the "Sent Message" screen to see who read and deleted your messages. There is absolutely no point to this. If someone reads your message and does not respond, do you really need to be reminded of this? I have never gone to a bar, started talking to a girl who is completely unresponsive, then went back to them a few hours later in an effort to triple confirm her disinterest relive the feelings of rejection and self doubt. So there you have it, A little bit of me. I'm an odd mix of honest insecurity and confidence. I know myself more than most and I enjoy making fun of myself. Especially if I think it might help me catch a fish.

On dates I generally ask lots of questions, like: "You have all your teeth right?" I'm not pushy or too nosy. I try not to ask about prior relationships, especially if I'm dating someone in who's in prison. If a girl has more than 8 cats it's a turn off. For a first date I would only be comfortable snuggling.I snuggle well but there's always room for improvement so I'm sure I could snuggle better.
