I love to play volleyball, I've been playing competitively for 30 years. I've dabbled in other sports throughout the years, like in-line skating, racquetball, mountain biking & cross country skiing. I'd love to get back into any or all of them. I'll try just about anything, but I'll warn you, I really stink at tennis.

I work full time, always have. I'm a Project manager. I can't say I love it, but it's paying the bills. I'm an intelligent woman, but I have to admit that I have my fair share of "blonde moments."

I also enjoy travel, though I don't get to do as much as I'd like. I've been to London & Amsterdam for work, with a little extra time for fun. I've been to Jamaica & Mexico for vacations. But that's about the extent of my international travel. I'd love to go to New Zealand some day for some wicked river rafting, hopefully before I get too old!

Aging? Yes I'm aging, and my body keeps reminding me of that, but my brain just hates to admit it. I'm told I look younger than I am, and I feel younger than I am. Admittedly, I'm a few pounds heavier than I'd like to be right now, but I'm working on getting back into my workout routine, and hope to get back to "normal" for me. Wanna help? Normal for me is athletic and curvy, no stick figures here.

I have a pre-teen daughter. When she forgets to be mean to me, she's pretty fun. She's a great kid & has some super friends. It's been a real experience watching her grow & mature, but I'm not having any more kids. If you already have some, that's fine, even great, but no more for me.

I'm not a fighter, not a yeller, not a gold digger, not the jealous or dramatic type. I don't do drugs or go to church. I cry at weddings & funerals. I laugh when I can, many times at myself. Sometimes I lose my car keys. That doesn't make me laugh. I'm average. I'm just the girl-next-door, all grown up, or sort-of grown up. Maybe I have a devilish side, but you'll have to find that out on your own. ;-D

While I don't consider myself to be religious (that's it's own story), I do try to live my life by being the best person I can be, to myself & to others. I believe that we should all be setting a good example for our kids. After all, as parents we're their most influential teachers.

What do I want? I want...
... a man that doesn't need to be taken care of, but still appreciates it when I do things for him. Because I will.
... to be admired for who I am, in spite of my faults, maybe even because of them.
... someone financially responsible. Have you planned for your retirement? I have.
... a partner who will not only participate in activities I dream up, but come up with ideas for us as well.
... a guy who can make me laugh without having to try.
... a man who can show emotion. You don't have to cry, but I should be able to tell there's something really wrong (or really right), just by the look on your face.
... the 2 chocolate kisses that I hid in the cabinet for just the moment I need them. If you find them, please don't eat them. ;-)
... to trust you & respect you, and get the same in return.
... to enjoy life and it's experiences with someone special.

Oh, and does anyone know why POF puts our zodiac signs right up top with our other vital stats? Do you believe that stuff? Maybe I'm just saying that because I'm a Scorpio. LOL

Let's go DO something. It doesn't really matter what.... bowling, mini-golf, go carting, batting practice, rock climbing, anything really. Let's just chat & play.

Oh, did I tell you I'm competitive? Not overly so, but I may give you a hard time if I beat you. I hope you can take it.
