First some serious stuff
I feel very confident with who I am and where I'm going. I work hard, play hard, then after that I sleep hard. I am spontaneous but I know how to relax. I can be goofy and I can be serious. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I appreciate good satire but i'll still laugh at toilet humor. Not afraid of seeing or doing new things but I feel you can't ignore the classics. Art is a part of my life and I love to bring my ideas to life on a sketchpad, canvas or a computer screen. If something inspires me I fire up photoshop and getting cracking at it. I find it's the best way to learn and improve myself. I work as a graphic designer and I have recently gone back to school for web development just to make myself stronger.

Now for the other stuff

My friends say i'm kind of geeky. I won't lie I have my moments. Moments where I'll just get really excited about something prompting my friends and others around me to give me "the look". You know that sort of blank emotionless stare. Kinda like the one in my profile pic. You may have gotten "the look" yourself or given "the look" from time to time. When "the look" is pulled out everyone knows that a moment of unbridled geekery has just occurred.

When I'm not prompting "the look" from others I like to do stuff. Active stuff. That exercise type of stuff. Nothing hardcore. I like to be energetic and athletic. I try to eat right but sometimes you just have to give in to those primal urges and just ingest some satisfying junk food. I am particularly fond of running. I'm always up to having someone to run with. Next year I'm planning to take part in my first marathon it's something I'm working toward.

And really, who doesn't run while listening to something to get you pumped? Though I don't listen only when I go running. Sometimes I like to just lay on my floor and stare at the roof with my music blaring in my headphones. I'll listen to most anything. Celtic, Indie Rock, House, Rap, Jazz, Chiptunes, Orchestral, Acid Jazz, even j-pop to name a few. I have a particular love for 80's music. As long as it sounds good i'll listen to it. Currently, what you will find playing out of my headphones would be Ladyhawke, Cut Copy, Imogen Heap, Justice, Passion Pit, and i'm listening to some Jay-Z and soaking up the Blueprint 3 album while binging on some Deathcab for Cutie.

Sorry no segue to link music to travel. It's not that I'm lazy. It's just... I..I was just gonna let YOU suggest a good way to link those two. See how generous I am? I'd even let you have the last bite of cake. Ahh but I'm getting away from the point. Traveling! I'm like all those great guys you see here saying that they want to travel to expand ones horizons, see the world and open their mind. Well, not really. To be honest I just think it would be fun. I don't want to go somewhere solely to expand my horizons and seem worldly. That always comes with the experience regardless. You learn things by doing. I just want to see some new places and have fun doing it. That's it plain and simple. I love japanese culture so I want to go to japan first.

So what am I looking for?
I'm looking for someone who's laid back but is always up to try something new. You can be mature but aren't afraid to shove marshmallows in your mouth for game of chubby bunny. Has a good head on they're shoulders and is goal oriented. Can you bend spoons with your mind? Juggle flaming axes? Touch your nose with your tongue? Thats cool but not really necessary.

Well for a first date I guess it depends on the person. Nobody is really the same. So I can't really give much about specifics. What I can say is that I would want to get to know the person. Yes Yes, it sounds so over used and cliche.

I guess a walk around Queen Street, grab a hot dog (or a veggie dog), and a serious conversation. You know, things like the state of America's health care system or why it's so hard to see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
