I'm originally from southern California (grew up in Huntington Beach and undergrad at UC San Diego) and moved here to the City for grad school. I absolutely love it and recently made the decision to stay for at least a few years. I miss the beach but really appreciate the seasons now that I'm living in the northeast. A knowledgeable New Yorker should point me to a good surf spot nearby.

I enjoy going out to new restaurants and bars and have a great set of friends from different parts of my life. Work and school keep me pretty busy, but I try to keep up-to-date on current events and politics. I enjoy traveling and had a chance to visit all fifty states when i was a kid and lived for a brief time in Italy. I was more active when I lived in California, though I still hit the gym regularly.

I find it necessary to be out doing things constantly to justify the rent I'm paying and am really looking for someone to experience life with, both the ups and the downs. I believe emotional and physical intimacy are very important. Also I misspelled the word "knowledgeable" the first time I wrote this profile so maybe I'm a little ironic as well. If you can throw my sarcasm back in my face I would really appreciate it. Work and school are a little stuffy, the rest of my life isn't. If you can make me laugh consistently you've got me.
