I'm an easy going, go-with-the-flow type of man who enjoys the social part of my life. I feel I'm a gentleman at heart but also have the 'guy next door' traits in me and they come out when the timing allows for it.

At the end of the day, I dont have a chance to get out that much these days and meet new people for the following reasons: a) I work shiftwork which means working most evenings and weekends and b) I find Ottawa very difficult to just get out and meet new people - most people always seem to have a negative idea in their head if someone just randomly approaches them.

All I ever ask for in life is to have 'a chance'; if I get the opportunity and things dont work out then so be it but at least I had a chance to show what I have to offer. Honesty and trust are essential in anyone I associate with. I'm a big boy and can handle blunt and to-the-point types of people. My one BIG pet peave is when people promise something and dont keep their promise. That's me in a nutshell - so take a chance on me.

P.S: I think this 'favorites list' is not only over rated but very misleading. Yes I may have a bunch of people have me on their favorite list but I have havent even talked to 90% of them. So if you are one of those who just adds me to their list without saying hello, dont be shy and message!

I'm very flexible as to what to do and where to go. It's all dependant on if the woman prefers a one-on-one or group atmosphere for a first date. I'm a simple man and just enjoy someone's company: may it be over drinks, a night of dancing, dinner or a simple night in. At the end of it all, all I'm looking for is a chance: a chance for someone to get to know me then they can make their own judgements. It's so tough to convey ones real personality and traits by typing a few words on here. I understand that people are cautious on here and all that when it comes to meeting someone but I'm a firm believer of giving someone the benefit of the doubt until meeting them then I can get a more accurate vibe.
