I feel like an odd contradiction a lot of the time. I'm from the west coast, I ride a motorbike, I go to Burning Man, and some of my favorite memories involve lying naked on a beach. But on the other hand, I'm a lawyer in Toronto (almost - articling student) and I like good wine. I have had days when I go from wearing a suit to court in the day, to riding my bicycle to an illegal all-night party that ultimately gets busted by the cops at night. I don't know how to reconcile these parts of myself, and frankly I don't care too. I like my job a lot, but not so much as to give up everything else I love in life.

I am one of those guys you see in cafes on Queen west or Kensington market wearing a tweed hat and reading Harper's magazine by himself. If you've ever seen someone riding a single-speed bike downtown wearing a full suit/tie, that was probably me...

Ultimately I'm looking for someone who is outgoing, adventurous and confident almost to the point of being egocentric. I think strong, independent women are totally hot. Good communication skills are important, and so is a sense of direction and passion in whatever you do in life.
