I am having a mid life crisis except it has turned out to be a liberating experience. I am adapting to working less and having more fun. I would like to make new friends for sharing fun times and expanding my life horizons and maybe someone really special will show up along the way too. I have only positive baggage and am free to enjoy more of what life has to offer. I like to listen to people who have had varied life experiences and stories to tell. I like almost all music especially classic rock. I cook with a southern accent. I have been a teacher and civil servant and enjoy helping people achieve their dreams. I like to travel and enjoy local day trips as well as longer journeys. I have recently bought a sports car (not my first - once owned a 1961 Austin Healey) and love to put the top down in the convertible and experience the wind. I like being outdoors and watching the weather and changing seasons. I like to read and attempt to write a little. Maybe you can help me with some of your interesting stories. I am relaxed, liberal,a great listener and a pretty good talker too I like reading mystery and history. I would love to find a special person to share the best years of our lives.

On a first meeting I would prefer to sit somewhere outdoors (weather permitting) and talk for awhile. If we are both agreeable, we might go for a walk or plan an activity we might like to do together. I am interested in getting to know you so we can see where our common interests lie. Second date might be a movie or museum or gallery or something you enjoy. Maybe a convertible ride to somewhere interesting. Whatever we do, I hope we laugh a lot.
