I'm a tall, active*, intelligent, blue-eyed-blond. And I am also your average Canadian and am really nice and people like me. I make friends easily, in most situations I'm not shy nor nervous, I'm funny with others that are funny. BUT... I am often very sarcastic and ironic, so take what I write or say with a grain of salt.

I LOVE animals and have 2 cats, so if you have a cat, dog, ferret, or horse, you jump to the top of the list. (Hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, foxes, and elephants are good too.)

I'm family-oriented and want to hang out with someone who is as well. I speak 3 languages and am working on a fourth. I'm educated (have a couple of bachelors, certificates, have studied in Can and abroad), I like to read, and I like to write. I also love sports, especially biking and tennis, followed by hiking and skiing and swimming, and after that anything goes: badminton, raquetball, have never played squash but would like to, frisbee, skating, snowshoeing, sailing... I'm up for pretty much any activity. Note, though, that I am not a good athelete. I'm actually quite bad at sports :-), but I love being active.

I'm not a big couch potato (normally). I have rabbit ears and 2 channels on my tv--that's how much I watch. I should chuck it, though I will occasionally rent movies so I keep it for that. ADDENDUM: Who rents movies anymore when you can watch them for free on the 'net?

I'm open to a lot, I love doing new stuff and going to new places... but I'm acrophobic so an adamant NO comes out for anything involving heights (except downhill skiing, but you'll have to put up with my scared whimpering going up on the chair. Yes, that's how bad it is :-))

I do as much as I can to protect our environment.
I like a lot of music and enjoy going to bars (sometimes) and concerts.
I love going to the movies, especially to see foreign films.
I like spur-of-the-moment activities.
I prefer athletic/active men who can keep up with me :-) (Haha, usually it's the other way around, I TRY to bike faster, hit the tennis ball harder, do more lengths at the pool... key word here being TRY.)

I shaved my head (Nov 30) cause I felt like it and if I were a guy, that would be perfectly acceptable. Being a woman, it is apparently not and something must be wrong with me. Nothing's wrong, I just felt like it and needed a change. I know this is going to scare 99% of you off. Oh well, the rest of me, inside and out, hasn't changed. And even though I have the Aryan looks to go with it, I am NOT a neo-Nazi, nor a skinhead.

* That's a lie. Well, at the moment, it's a lie. I've been a bit of a couch potato, more like a desk potato cause I'm addicted to my computer and the internet and am on it all day long. I've started disciplining myself and am doing a few more things and hope to be back to my normal self soon enough.

A walk on the mountain, a bike ride along the Lachine canal or along Rivière des Prairies, a walk in the Old Port (as long as we pass near Queue de castor so I can get one!) or anything else that at least partly involves being outside.
