I'd like to meet someone who can be the perfect foil to my character, a partner-in-crime and a great friend all rolled into one. I keep my life as simple as possible and free of any drama. I'd like to meet someone who is open-minded yet even-keeled. I'd like to start with a friendship and see how things go from there.

About me:

1. I'm a nurse and I truly found my calling in this profession. I like how I get to make a positive impact in the lives of my patients daily and also be a part of the problem solving processes involved in my job.
2. I have a very compassionate and empathetic personality - it's a key component of my job
3. I can say I'm somewhat of an intellectual. I can do really mundane talks but I get a thrill out of deeper, more profound conversations.
4. I love music. I listen to a lot of types and styles - whatever fits the mood. I like old stuff too - Beatles, Rolling Stones, classic punk, 80's new wave and even 90's stuff.
5. I have a geeky side to me.
6. I know how to cook and I do it when I feel like it. Not just instant food, mind you.
7. I like wine. I go wine tasting once in a while and I have a small collection in my apartment.
8. I work hard. I don't ever play hooky and I may put in a few extra once in a while.
9. I pay for good food, but I also enjoy an In-N-Out burger once in a while.
10. I love to travel - I like the vacations that involve me carrying a backpack going around the urban jungle finding the best cheap thrills out there. Roadtrips are also fun.
11. I like indie films and also those by Quentin Tarantino.
12. I'm very easygoing. I don't stress over the small stuff.
13. I like the beach and I actually like going into the water and getting wet.
14. I'm a romantic. I'll admit to that.

I like a setting in which we can get to know each other. I can't say it right now because it all depends on many factors.
