Have some motivation, self respect and respect for others. It's not that difficult. Put some thought and effort into your profile. Regardless of if it gets you a date or the "man of your dreams", it's still a FIRST IMPRESSION.

I am confident yet reserved. Not conceited and overzealous. I also tell it like it is. Why hide who you are? I will probably never make a million dollars (unless I hit the lottery), and am completetly comfortable with that.

I am cautious but not paranoid. If I smell a rat I will call you out on it.

It's the little things that win me over. Something like a little note or text saying "Good morning, I was just thinking about you.", or a simple "Thank You". Does anybody even say that anymore? If you frown, I'll make you smile, and if you fall, I'll pick you up.

My pleasures are not contrived from other people's misery. I am generally a cheerful and enthusiastic person who walks with his head up. So please, no manic depressives with the proverbial rain cloud over their heads.

I am quite active and like to stay fit. I'm not a nut about it, or some huge bodybuilder either. Just basic stuff like exercising and eating right. I do go to the gym 5-7 times a week and prefer to cook meals at home over going out. I like to watch movies during the weeknights or play my guitars and write music. I get up early in the morning for work so I like to keep my weekends for play time. I'm not looking for somebody that needs to go out all the time or be the life of the party.

I'm good with children (no NOT in a perverse Michael Jackson kind of way...). I have a TON of respect for single moms. I know, because I grew up with one. Please, no EX's or child's father conflicts. Especially if you might still have feelings that could get in the way. It's just not worth feeling like you are on an episode of "Jerry Springer" or "Cheaters"...

I don't date more than one person at a time. I'd rather focus my energies on one person. If for some reason I'm not "feeling it", I'm not going to waste your time. I would expect the same in return.

I live like it's my last day on earth, kiss like it's the last kiss I'll ever have, and I will die conquering my greatest fears. Just looking for a woman to be my best friend, my lover, and my biggest fan. Besides, relationships are NOT just about how much you like somebody, it's all about how well you handle the things you DON'T like.

A few things I like: loud rock music, a good Shiraz, purples and blues, tattoos (I have two), spontaneous weekend getaways, running/jogging, nights out on the town, coffee, scary movies, and Italian food.
