I live downtown, I like going to the movies and watching at home (big on comedy), all genres of music, into most sports, a lot of shows on tv (comedies, history channel, a&e, hbo) and am also into keeping in shape (for the most part). I live downtown w/ several friends so we tend to hit up hollywood several nights a week. I'd like to retire by age 40, so feel free to make a donation.

I'm a people person. I like talking to and meeting new people. Don't be offended if I conversate with a waitress or bartender or just whoever while we're out. It's just my nature and I don't mean anything by it. I'm extremely family oriented. I talk to both of my parents at least several times a week. They've been married for 34 years and are the most amazing people in my life.

My friends are very important to me. If you don't like them and vice versa I can tell you now it won't work out. I live with 3 of my closest friends. We all keep each other grounded and on point. I'm also an extremely active person. Yea you can catch me watching a movie or tv here or there, but moreover, I like to be out doing something..dinner, a jog, at the fitness center in our building, the beach, a roostertail w/ close friends (it wouldn't let me spell the word commonly associated with a drink, so i used rooster, which is basically another name for it), etc.

Music! I won't sugarcoat this. I like what I like. I find it very offputting and annoying when people have in their profiles, "If you listen to country or techno (we call it "House" now by the way) don't bother". Well I listen to BOTH. And if you're going to NEXT someone because they listen to something you don't, well then I'm glad we didn't waste each other's time. That's a lot of the fun in people, your other half is everything you're not. DUH. Aside from country and techno, I also listen to hip-hop, classical, oldies, rock and alternative.

Movies! I can't even tell you how much I like movies even though I don't get to watch them as much as I'd like. I love comedies. Anything from classics like Dumb & Dumber, all the way up to Pineapple Express and things like that. I also think Brad Pitt is an amazing, versatile actor, along with Anthony Hopkins and many, many others.

Hobbies...hmmm, I like it when the roommates are all home after we're all off work and it's fun to have a few beers and dish about our days. Sounds funny I know, but I look forward to it. Sports are other hobbies of mine. I love playing basketball, golfing and attending about any sporting event you could imagine. Reading is something I've gotten into as I've gotten older. Not so much books anymore, but I like informative magazine articles where I can learn about more subjects in shorter amounts of time. I'm currently trying to kick my facebook hobbie lol.

a first date...hmmm...i like to take the old fashioned route sometimes and do dinner and/or a movie sometimes. i like places that we can actually hear each other talk to start out with. a hike at runyon and lunch would be cool, too. or bumper cars if you think you can hang ;)
