I'm going to university taking my B.Sci/B.Ed and hope to become a high school chemistry teacher. I really love learning and challenging myself mentally. I love word puzzles and sudoku and even attempt crosswords now and again.(usually without much success)

I really like to read and am definitely open to suggestions for new books. :)I like going for walks and playing at parks (tire swings/swings in general are my favourite). I have tons of neices and nephews and I love them to pieces and enjoy spending time playing with them. my family means the world to me and i miss my sister and brother in calgary sooo much.


I love swimming, and went to the river a bunch of times this summer. I love camping and bicycling and hiking and just being outside. i love to sing and dance, although i am a bit of a klutz (sp?) and i've been known to do these two a bit spontaneously at times.

i recently travelled to london, berlin, and israel and it was absolutely amazing! next on my list is new york. i've been to one theatre capital (london) and now i want to go to the other. i kind of think travelling is like a drug though, now that i've started i just keeping thinking of more and more places that i would like to visit, or revisit. lol.

i like almost everything when it comes to music (exempting heavy metal) although i do tend to lean towards country and "punk?" music. some of my favourites are paul brandt, taylor swift, rascal flatts, simple plan, dashboard confessionals, and kelly clarkson. oh, and i LOVE musicals.

I am NOT a "party" girl. I do not drink alcohol, I don't hold it against you if you do, I'm just letting you know that I won't go to the bar with you. sorry.

I think that what I would really love to do is decorate cupcakes. I think that could potentially be a blast and a half, ending in a messy icing/caking war. :P (deeply macho voice) BRING IT ON!
