I'm a northern Michigan girl through and through. I love going back up to Traverse City to hang with friends downtown or at the beach. I came to Grand Rapids for school and I'm currently student teaching at an elementary school just outside of GR. I'm getting a degree in special education. It's definitely my passion and have found that my students inspire me probably more than I inspire them.

I have an eclectic taste in music but tend to favor country when I'm listening to the radio...not to say that's all that I listen to. As far as movies go, I like comedy, action, dramas, and romantic comedies. I love to try new things, especially when it comes to food, so I'll try almost anything. Anything else, I guess you'll just have to ask.

I'm open for a lot of different things as far as a first date goes as long as I'm in good company. I'm always up for dinner and a movie or just chatting at a coffee shop. I love going to hockey, football and baseball games so that's always a great option. Downtown GR is a lot of fun in the evening for local entertainment and drinks too. Mini-golf and ice cream is always a classic.
