Hey, I'm in Salem Oregon for a few weeks and am longing to go salsa dancing or out for some other type of dancing. I can perhaps pop up to Portland or down to Eugene or otherwise pilgrimage to somewhere. I usually live in Chicago but am here for an extended stay and don't know the local terrain.

More about me.... I'm a professor who studies the prison industrial complex and does community antiviolence/peace work. I like to spend the rest of my time dancing, laughing, and talking with people. I take classes in ballet, tap, salsa, bellydancing, Nia and Tai Chi. Although I am highly enthusiastic, I'm not proficient at any of the above.

My politics are radically leftist. I have a compassionate heart, a disciplined work ethic, and a delighted smile.
