Hi - Lots of changes in my life lately - so I am here checkin it out - very independent - a bit of time on my hands - want to travel a bit before I go back to the 9-5 - so I may be browsin a different zip code than my own - locally I'd like to have someone to go to happy hour or dancin with - the divorce settlement gave him the friends - j/k

Uuuuggggghhhhh - I hate to start with this but .... I am in no rush... if you are... please move on.

Think of myself as pretty simple, really.
I like to Cook and Garden. And I have a Hobby of making Homemade Wine. Blackberries and other fruits are plentiful around here, which is a good thing for all my friends.
I learned to Golf just last year. And I do really love it. The golf course is a great place to spend the day surrounded by green grass, sand, water and often birds and deer. I just wish I had taken it up ages ago. I am nearly 5'9" and when I was young that often meant awkward not athletic. I have to wait till I am in my 40's to be hear "You are a Natural Athlete"
Traveling is great - chase the warm weather - see the world but I am always happy to get back home.
My first music memories have to be Johnny Cash or Elvis. Still love them both, the old stuff. Best era for me the 80's when I learned to party, you could still understand the words to a rock song back then. Mellow Mood - Dino, Sinatra or Darin. Country tells a great story. For new music - Flo-rida and Katy Perry help me get thru my daily workouts. Really, I enjoy most all types of music.
I work out every day - but am not yet where I want to be - maybe then I will change my body type to athletic - heck if I'm not gonna fit into your search parameters 'cause I'm a work in progress - oh well

I do get a few messages here - please keep it light and no novels
If you look happy - you probably are happy - just the kind of person I want to talk to
If you have a sense of humor - you might make me even happier - just the kind of person I want to talk to
I just don't know how to answer when you ask for a date before you have even talked to me - so I might not, answer that is
I also sometimes read my messages and don't respond right away - if you are one of those guys that sends the second message a half hour later that says "well I guess you aren't interested" - golly gee you are so right

Lastly - I really am 48 - really
I look and act younger and I do prefer men just a little younger than me
Tall would be nice too
But you know the minute you make parameters the one you fall for won't fit them so I try to keep an open mind

Date - OMG - that's a four letter word
Really - best to leave the doors open - maybe something casual and short for a first meeting. Coffee or Happy Hour works.
