If you're wondering why my status is friendship here's why; my social circle consists mostly of dudes and I think it would be enlightening to have some female insight/perspective. I don't consider myself the type of cat who likes to date. Within the last five years I've dated women and found its enjoyable in the moment but when you're attracted to someone based upon their intellect/looks, it only goes so far (being emotionally drawn to someone makes the connection sacred). Also, I find if you establish a friendship with someone than there's less pressure to act like the man and essentially it makes things more smooth. Anyway I'm trying to expand my horizons socially. If anyone is familiar with Erik Erikson's developmental psychology I'm experiencing Intimacy vs Social Isolation.
Currently, my goals are derived in receiving training with the crisis center while completing my degree in Child and Youth Care Counselling, and at some juncture learn sign language.
I've been on this site for about a month and I notice people rarely mention their flaws, as if flaws are some sort of character defect. To me there simply attributes which encompass our character. So my flaws are as follows; sometimes I'm reclusive, I exercise in intervals, at times I'm forgetful. But in terms of my general character I'm openminded, empathetic/compassionete, optimistic, and inquisitive!

I'm just as unique as the next guy; it really boils down to whether or not we're compatible for one another.
