Biographical:
My name is Joey. I consider myself to be a work in progress. I'm discovering that we grow and change throughout life and that when we stop growing we have become old.

I am a six foot tall, slender, athletic, father of three; two daughters, a son, and grandfather to a beautiful granddaughter.
My children are grown and out of the house. Wink-wink!
I have two dogs; Archie and Jezebel.

Oh and I wear Cordovan by Banana Republic or I wear nothing at all. Ha-ha!

There are many things that I enjoy. Sharing a pot of good coffee on lazy weekend mornings, watching a movie together, the occasional sporting event; Pro and College Football or College Basketball; go Jayhawks, but I am not fanatical about sports. I like eating out, and I like to go Dancing.

If I had to make a list and check off my requirements in a Woman it would be something like this.

When I was younger I had looked for physical beauty in a woman, to the exclusion of almost anything else. Now that I am a little older and wiser(?), I have found that the character of a woman counts for more than how beautiful she is or was. I was deceived and ultimately betrayed by beauty and found that it can often hide the lack of character or self esteem. Don't get me wrong. I love sexy, attractive, confident women. But I am looking for one special woman who possesses a combination of traits; character, brains, and ok I admit it; beauty, but in all its incantations.

Second, communication; I am struggling to understand how men and women communicate. We all say we want open honest communication. I am beginning to believe the reality is we only communicate on levels that our partners allow. And that when we truly express ourselves we usually do more harm to a relationship than good. "Be careful what you ask for because you just might get it" or "be careful what you reveal because it might come back to bite you," and it usually does right in the ass! It's a brave soul who asks honest questions, excepts an honest answer, and gives honest opinions in return. I toast those who dare.

Third, I seek a woman who isn't afraid to roll up her sleeves and pitch in when needed but is still a feminine woman. One that enjoys being a woman but understands and appreciates a man. She would need a positive attitude about life and the future, be attractive, educated, compassionate, sensitive, knowledgeable, and fun. She must be a woman I can talk to about anything and everything. Trustworthy enough to share my secrets with, and open enough to share hers with me. She should be someone I can share a big loud belly laugh with, and have an honest friendship with, and above all she would be a woman of integrity and high morals. She would know what she wants from life and wouldn't be afraid to go after it. She must be able to dream and willing to sacrifice if needed for her dream.

Fourth, How about a sense of humor. Let's laugh a little bit. (As it was pointed out to me number (4) could or should be number (1).

If she was crazy about me, couldn't wait to be with me, loved to kiss me, and included me in her every thought...I would consider it a real plus. Haha!!!
But! There's always a butt. Until she comes along............???
