There's little I like more than hanging out at the beach all day with good friends but since I can't do that all of the time I also enjoy playing guitar, mixed martial arts, flag football, listening to live music, gardening, art, beach volleyball, learning about pretty much anything, tennis, exploring new places, jogging, history, playing paintball, fishing, home brewing beer, working out, international cuisine, playing Texas Hold’em, camping and pretty much anything outdoors and/or athletic, partying with friends or with strangers for that matter and having intelligent conversations with people...especially over a nice bottle of Merlot.

Like most people I find confidence and ambition very attractive. Nothing is worse than someone who feels sorry for them self and then tops it off by doing absolutely nothing to make their situation better. I find tattoos and lip/body piercings extremely sexy. But just for the record...goals, ambition and morals outweigh tats and piercings! LOL And generally I find a darker skin complexion attractive. Now I’m not saying you have to sun bathe all day or be born in Nigeria, just don’t look like the walk to your car and back every day is the only time you ever see sun light. lol

And ladies, why do you put half naked pics on your profile? It comes off as really desperate. Attracting guys isn’t exactly the hardest thing in the world to do but when you put up pics like that you will probably not attract the type of man you are looking for. And the excuse “that’s the only full body pic I had” is pretty weak and very comical. Who do you think you are kidding? But to each his own I guess. I'm not here to judge anyone.

Professionally, I would like to begin working on my masters degree next year. It's been put off for far too long and I'm finally (I think) at a place where I have the time to commit to it. There are just so many other things I'd rather be doing then studying but I know from a potential earnings stance obtaining a masters degree is a good move. One of those “other things” is playing guitar. I play a few times a week and find it is a relaxing creative outlet. I also play once a week with a few friends and we cover mainly rock songs.

I just came off of a year mobilization in the Army reserves in October and go back to my regular civilian job in November after some much needed time off from working. My unit was a training Battalion so I have not been overseas anywhere. We trained other Soldiers before they went to Iraq or Afghanistan. I do not regret the decision to join the Army reserves but I am thankful it's over and glad to be back working in the private sector. My military occupational specialty was finance, I know, not very sexy at all but someone had to do it. Oh, and now that I am out I'm growing a beard JUST BECAUSE I CAN!!! Consider yourself forewarned!!!

Just an FYI - I’m trying to close on a house this month (November) so I really don’t have a lot of free time. And I'm 6'1"....since some people seemed to think I was only 5'8"!!!

I apologize to you if I don't seem real eager to jump into a forced awkward intimate situation that people like to call dating. I don't like the feeling. You're sitting there, you're wondering do I have food on my face, am I eating, am I talking too much, are they talking enough, am I interested, I'm not really interested, should I play like I'm interested but I'm not that interested but I think she might be interested but do I want to be interested but now she's not interested? So all of the sudden I'm starting to get interested... And when am I supposed to kiss you? Do I have to wait for the door cause then it's awkward, it's like well goodnight. Or do you do that ass-out hug? Where you hug each other and your ass sticks out cause you're trying not to get too close or do you just go right in and kiss on the lips or don't kiss at all? It's very difficult trying to read the situation. And all the while you're just really wondering are we gonna get hopped up enough to make some bad decisions? Perhaps play a little game called "just the tip". Just for a second, just to see how it feels.
