Hello. My name is Chris Alexander. I'm a deployed Medic with the Oregon National Guard. I'm not going to be home for good until March, but I have some leave in November. My wife decided not to wait for me here in Iraq, we have no kids and she's being amicable about finances so it's not a big thing. I get a lot of questions about wether or not we are working it out, or am I ready to date. The answer is yes, we are done. She hasn't talked to me for awhile, and we should get the divorce paperwork started next month. She doesn't want to work it out, and I don't know if I can forgive her for abandoning me out here, when I needed her the most.

Why am I looking for only online communication? Well, I'm in Iraq. I would love to go on a date with you, but it's physically impossible right now. I'm sure that in a few months when I get home, though, I have a lot of things I want to do! And if you want to experience those things as friends or as a date, it will take some patience, but I won't disapoint!

What I am looking for is someone who's personality can light up my life. Friends, future, whatever, I'm just getting ready to dive back into the dating scene again. I'm a bit nerdy. I got my degree in Mathematics just before we left. I'm pursueing a Masters in something. I haven't quite decided yet, maybe Physician Assistant or Medical School, maybe Mathematics or Engineering.I'm pretty much always scheming and planning something, very goal orientated, but that doesn't stop me from being fun and funny!

So, that's a bit about me. I hope to meet you soon. I changed my status to hanging out, I would include dating but I'm 5 months out til I get home! I'm serious about dating in 5 months though ;-) I'm worth the wait.

Dinner is great, nothing like good food, a drink, and some great conversation to get to know someone. Depending on the person, with friends or without. The Zoo or an Art Musuem is a good one too, to shake things up. Fun no matter how the date turns out!
