I love discussing movies I've seen, places I been and books I've read. I'm ambivalent about sports, so I could watch an LSU or NFL game with your parents and siblings at a family event, but would talk about it less than your dad. I am seeking a local partner for activity on a basis. I am not against a long distance (25-60 mi) relationship. If you are further from me, and can take turns traveling, then fine. I have an ever ready attitude, but prefer planning to spontenaity. Not looking for drama, your cam, your website, but am up for you.I love to take pictures, and if you love photography too, we could have fun. I made my living for years taking portraits, so I'm the go-to guy for family reunions and get-togethers.
I will never retire, because I know I like to keep busy. I will have further books published, take more photographs, tutor, and do enjoy kids. I wouldn't mind moving to the country, but I will always want some of the things only available in cities. I can be comfortable in a tux or jeans. I've been more than 50 miles from home, so I'm open-minded. I've lived outside of Louisiana, and been to Europe, so I'm ok with you if you haven't, just understand that some people live differently than we do. If you are provincial, I think that is quaint, just be accepting of differences. If you don't know what I mean by provincial, be willing to learn. Yes, I know my intelligence can be my greatest strength and my worst enemy when I use it unwisely, but be patient, God is working on me. My taste in music is broad but excludes heavy metal, rap, and today's hiphop. I think alcoholic beverages are beverages, not an excuse to become wasted.

Apparently coffee is the first step before the "date," or so it goes. Good food, drink, music, and conversation. I can be open minded when persuaded, just know I thing and feel deeply, so I am just not shallow. Laughter, fun, and no heavy stuff. Sound like a contradiction? Well, remember morality politics and religion are hot buttons, otherwise I am a sweet gentleman with consideration and compassion. Is there anything wrong with being a passionate man? I can be empathetic, a good listener, and a friend. Love music, dance, movies, antique malls, landscapes? Join me.
If you think either Third St, Bourbon St or Magazine St are fun, we might enjoy time together. If you enjoy a walk in a park, hike through the woods, or stroll in a museum are good, let's go.
