I’ve been told I’m funny, but only by people who have a great appreciation for sarcasm and puns. I’ll be careful here because there is no universally agreed upon sarcasm font, although having one established has recently become a goal of mine. My head is full of next-to-useless information. I consider no knowledge completely useless because you never know when it’ll win you a bet. I am smart, educated and I like to know things, but that doesn’t make me a know-it-all.

I like to cook, as well as dine. I like music, concerts, and most of your standard forms of entertainment despite the fact that I don’t have much opportunity to enjoy them. I really enjoy playing euchre, but it is not so easy to find a foursome in the south. I am not an athlete, although I don’t mind if you are. I have never understood people who go out for a run to end up back where they started but if that works for you, keep running. I try to run only when I’m in a hurry. I like watching sports (preferably hockey), but wouldn’t necessarily schedule my weekend around a game. Please don’t expect me to site stats – that is not among the information floating around in my head. If you choose to spend draft weekend with your fantasy football league, so be it. I’ll be out with the other “fantasy football widows”.

I would like to meet someone who can make me laugh as easily as carry on a conversation about anything or nothing at all. It would be nice to spend time with someone who made me feel at home no matter where I was. Ultimately, I’d like to meet someone that is worth paying a babysitter to spend time with.
