Outgoing-Down-to-Earth Single dad. I have two awesome boys 11 and 13 and enjoy every moment I can with them. They are my priority and I enjoy attending there sports games and coaching them when I can. I miss having lunch with them at their grade school now that there both in the same middle school. They are my gifts from god.

As far as me, it's hard to describe However, I've been told that I am Dependable / Kind / Polite / Caring / Compassionate /Giving / Trustworthy / Friendly - Out-Going / Sincere / Thoughtful / Spontaneous / Affectionate / Passionate / Humble / Old Fashion Romantic with a Positive Attitude.

Always Up for any fun outdoor activities and some thing I like to enjoy nd hope you do; dining, movies, (especailly a drive-in) musical theater, comedy clubs, concerts, museums, the beach, art shows, flea markets, festivals, any zoo, canoeing, mini-golf, camping or just going on a picnic in a local forest preserve or park with a blanket. I am open to enjoying quiet indoor evenings, romantic cooking, rental movies, board games, cards, entertaining, bbqs or just talking about nothing under the stars and flirting are always fun activities. However, these are just few things. It's more spending time with someone special.

And yes, I even like shopping.

I come from a large family where we had done simple things like apple picking, pumkin farms or local sighting (day trips) maybe towards the Quad cities, Springfield or any small town for some local eats. However, I also enjoy the marvels of the city. No stranger to either downtown or the country.

I am looking for someone who has that fun spirit who enjoys life. Ideally, someone who's not afraid of commitment if and when the time is right. Someone I can just be myself (with grace) while working with integrity. I am easy to talk with, love to dance, act silly at times and love to laugh, even at myself. I'm one who enjoys and grateful for each day.

My ideal partner will make our hearts beat as we hold hands. Anxiously awaiting our next meeting. Smiling when we just think about each other. I enjoy doing small things like notes on your car, flowers "just because" or a surprise picnic during your lunch hour. I do like thunderstorms and cuddling or maybe a walk during a light rain under an umbrella shaking the branches as we walk by. I am a BIG KID at heart and often laugh at myself and do silly things.

I am divorced, since 2002. One serious relationship since then. I am not perfect, we all make mistakes. It's how we learn from them and move the good forward is my attitude. I am just ready to turn a new page in my life and would like to join and share the journey with someone that may have or may not similar interests. I am up for anything new and adventurous.

I beleive Life is about learning, laughing and loving. My goal is to find my life partner that can be in a caring, trusting, honest and loving relationship to set an example for our children.


I enjoy most types of music, soft rock, classic rock, christian rock, dance music, some country as long as its not about dogs. I do LOVE animals. Some favorite new songs: "IF YOU ONLY KNEW" by Shinedown, "WAIT FOR ME" by Therory of a Deadman, "NO SURPRISE" by Daughtry or any NickleBack.

Something not too many people know is that I like to draw and duddle as well as volunteer work.
