My field of study doesn't really afford me much freedom in terms of being able to meet new people. I guess you could say we're a class of hard-working hermits. I can't complain though because it satisfies what my friends would call my 'curious monkey' side. Très nerd, I know.

I joined POF to look for some good people to hang out with. My close friends have left the province, coincidentally, all this past summer. I'm guessing it's because they decided it was time for me to grow up. lol I'm not childish, but I can be quite silly when you get to know me. If you can frown more than you can smile, then we might not get along. Although, I do like a challenge and would probably try my hardest to crack you.

In terms of my interests, I'm really into enjoying the arts at the moment. I've discovered a new love for opera and classical music. Chopin and Rachmaninoff are brilliant. Also brilliant is director and animator Hayao Miyazaki. If you haven't heard of him, he's like David Suzuki mashed with Walt Disney. His animated movie collection is beautiful. Aside from the arts, I also have a love for tennis and volleyball, both of which I'm currently playing.

I find I get along well with people who are open-minded and easy-going. It's also interesting if you can think on your own. lol

P.S. - Aggressive/loud people are a turn off.
