Recently moved to San Francisco, and so am enjoying discovering a new city. I also enjoy meeting people and thoughtful discussions on a wide range of subjects. It would be great to explore the city and the Bay Area with someone who knows them well.
Many of my favorite activities are done outdoors: Cycling, hiking, snorkeling, scuba, skiing (down hill & cross-country). Any time spent on the water is a pleasure, especially in a sail boat.
I enjoy attending the theater and live concerts. Edinburgh during the fringe festival is one of my favorite places to be.
A few favorite things I have done in my life so far include: Skiing down the Mer de Glace (Mont Blanc); doing stage lighting for theater and dance groups; and exploring Mayan sites in the jungle of Guatemala.

A few favorite bands/musicians: Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, Stevie Wonder, and Philip Glass. I also enjoy listening to harp and organ music.
Favorite broadcasters: Ira Glass, Garrison Keillor, and Terry Gross
