Hey everyone,

I'm here for the same reasons you are. I want to meet people, and since I am not so great at doing that in "real life", I've turned to this website. I try to live an active lifestyle. I enjoy working out, which includes doing CrossFit (not that I'm any good at it), and it has become somewhat of a passion and an obsession of mine. I'm constantly trying to improve my life and this is one of the primary ways of doing so. I also enjoy reading, although I don't do it as much as I would like. I'm a sucker for a good fiction novel. I like to read books that have been turned into movies, so I can compare and see just how bad the movie version turned out.

I also love to go to Oilers hockey games!

You know, I don't think I'm here looking for anything all that specific really. I do want someone who has goals and aspirations of their own. Someone who has an education or a career, or is working towards either one is great. I can sit around home and watch TV by myself, so I'm looking for someone who likes to get out and do something, whether it's simply going for a walk, or going out to a restaurant for dinner. I'm passed the stage in my life where I like to go to the bars and clubs every weekend, and I'm looking for someone who is similar to me in that regard. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy having a great time, but the bar lifestyle is just not for me. I would also like to meet someone who keeps themselves active with physical activity in some form. I'm not necessarily looking for someone who spends hours per day in the gym, because I don't, but someone who likes to keep in good shape is nice.

I'm also looking for someone who is mature, responsible, and independent. Someone whose friends would typically describe them as the nicest person in the world.

PS - I'm a terrible shopper, so if you want to be my personal shopping assistant, I'm currently taking applications!

We all say that something casual is usually best for a first date. Something like a walk in a park or the river valley, or somewhere somewhat quiet so that we can have a conversation and learn about each other. I've always wanted to try skydiving, so maybe we can get really adventurous and try something crazy like that. I'm up for pretty much anything. With the right person, it won't matter what we're doing! Want to go to a comedy club? Great, let's go! Want to go skiing/snowboarding/skating when the snow arrives? I'm in!
