I am the eternal optimist whose glass is MORE than half full. I am easy-going, spontaneous, adventurous, outgoing and laid-back. I'm always willing to try new things--I am someone who wants to LIVE life and experience all it has to offer, not just observe from the sidelines.

I love thunderstorms, snowdays, sailing and swimming, holding hands while walking in the woods, and lots of lights on Christmas trees. However, my ABSOLUTE favorite things are sea bass, Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay, Moet et Chandon champagne, coffee, PINK roses, RED Swedish Fish, and jumping in the leaves during Autumn to hear them crunch.

For fun I like the theatre, art galleries, and the arts, but I also like football, hockey, and baseball—both to watch AND to play (no, this is not a typo). AND--I have this amazing ability to seamlessly go from jeans and sneakers to little black dress and heels in the blink of an eye. However, going out is not mandatory, because spending a quiet night at home with someone you care about is beyond compare.

In short, I'm a happy, grounded person with a great family and a job I enjoy. All I need to make my life complete is that special someone to share it with.

I think there is a difference between a first MEETING and a first DATE. For a first MEETING, I think getting together for a cup of coffee or a drink is best. This gives us a chance to see each other face-to-face and get to know each other a bit.

A first DATE, on the other hand, is a bit more intimate and can be almost ANYTHING, which is why it is best to have that first meeting to discover common interests. That said, MY ideal first date would be getting dressed up and going to dinner at a restaurant where they have real tablecloths instead of brown paper and crayons. Afterwards, perhaps a walk in the moonlight, and then......who knows?
