I am a university professor of music, and have performed all over the world singing tenor, mostly classical but lots of pop as well. I also enjoy very much playing instruments, especially the touch guitar, a new and incredible instrument that combines the range of the bass guitar with the standard guitar, over 5 octaves! Multi-lingual, I enjoy all cultures and cook from many cultures as well, particularly Asian cooking, Indian, Indonesian and more. I just released a new album on my touch guitar, mostly classical comfort music. I would like to think I'm compassionate, and coming from a family composed entirely of women I think I have a unique rapport with women, and enjoy their company far more than the company of guys in truth; they know how to communicate! Liberal in most ways, but love the intellectual stimulation of other viewpoints no doubt. I enjoy opera, classical, jazz, bluegrass, and world music as well; it's all good, with the exception of some anti-woman rap music.

My ideal first date would be at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with great food of an ethnic bent. The conversation would be lively and wide-ranging, from politics to the latest cases on the news, to great movies coming up and perhaps a little about Monk, my fave TV show. We'd shut down the place, then I'd drive you home, walk you to your door and give you a respectful hug, and perhaps if fortune smiles a kiss as well.

The thing that would make it the ideal first date, of course, is when we have a second date! I wish to talk with you, and will always strive to treat you with good manners, consideration and respect.
