It is always more fun to get to know a person, then to read a profile...isn't it :)
However, since this website will not allow me to register without having some sort of description of myself...here it is...I enjoy many things and have very diverse interests - I feel comfortable in an evening dress at a formal event and in a baseball cap at a hockey game. I like dressing up and going out or staying in for the night and enjoying a good movie. I love traveling to new places, exploring new countries, meeting new people, learning new cultures. I have a German Shepherd dog. He is extremely loyal and extremely spoiled (but well behaved). I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and moved to the States when I was 13 years old.

Well...to avoid sounding like a commercial, if you liked what you read so far, there is a lot more to discover :)

P.S. After giving it some thought, I decided to add this post scriptum, which would give you an idea of a kind of man I would or would not be interested in. Some of this might be a little sarcastic and straight forward, but for the most part is true...so, if after reading this, you say "Wow, she knows what she wants," please email me. But if you say "Wow, what a b..ch," then we probably would not get along. Here it is...

1) If you had to look up the meaning of the phrase "post scriptum," we probably would not be compatible. Along the same line...I am looking for someone who is educated and can carry on a conversation. So, if you don't have a bachelor's degree, then we probably would not get along. And yes, I do agree that education does not necessarily define whether you are smart.

2) Although I have the upmost respect for divorced father, I would probably not get involved with a man that has children. I have two God kids whom I absolutely adore. However, men with kids usually come with ex-wives...and ex-wives always manage to create drama when they see another woman. I am just not into drama...

3) If you have never been to a museum or a performance art show (ok, ok, you can count Cirque du Soleil), then we probably would not get along. With that said, if you have never been to a sporting event, then we probably would not be compatible either. I am looking for someone who is well-rounded.

4)I love to travel. It is my absolute passion. If you are not interested in overseas travel, then I would probably not be interested in you. And by overseas, I do not mean Canada or Mexico. You actually have to be willing to cross the Atlantic Ocean or Pacific Ocean...in an airplane.

5) I have a German Shepherd...we are a package deal. You cannot have him without me. :) He is very spoiled, but very well mannered and trained. He drinks wine only out of a glass...lol...But if your dog sleeps on your bed, chews up your stuff and uses your living room rug as his personal bathroom, it does not mean that you love your dog. It means that your dog has no boundaries and you don't know how to set them...not going to work for me.

6) Please know how to use a fork and a knife...they are placed there for a reason. I don't expect you to be able to know how to eat a 9 course meal, but I certainly expect a man to have table manners. Yes, that includes pouring wine for a woman when her glass is almost empty...

7) Call me old-fashioned, but I do like when a man opens a door for a woman...Do I expect it?!....I would say, yes. A friend of mine told me a joke once: "If a man opens a car door for a woman, it is either a new car or a new woman." Well, if you live by that saying/joke, then I guess you better have a new car every time you see me.

8) Please have a decent job. I do. Why shouldn't you?! And by a decent job I do not mean a manager at a fast food restaurant. Have goals in life!
