I try to be a well rounded guy. I have a full-time job, go to school part-time, I am a published author on Amazon, and I am a full-time dad to a great 14 year old son. I maintain a 3.2 GPA in a dual major for an ASN (Associate Science in Nursing, RN) and an AS (Associate in Science in Management). I love to give foot massages, cook a nice dinner for someone special, and love to do anything outdoors. I am not a metro-sexual, but I am not a redneck. I am a Southerner, and I like to think I am open minded, without being wishy-washy. I am a great listener, and think that being a good listener is an acquired skill. I am very romantic, but I am have a silly side too. It is nice to be needed, but not to be needy, it is great to love, but equally important to be loved. I want a lover and a muse, a partner and a friend. I believe in soul-mates, but believe they can be developed, and they do not have to be predestined. I believe that life is what me make it, and I hate the attitude that "if its meant to be", it is what we make it, but it is easier for some who are lazy to just leave it up to someone else to decide their fate instead of taking control of their own lives. Please do not write me if you are not willing to talk on the phone after a week or two, I am not big into thousands of emails, if I want a pen pal I will put an ad for that. Also, if I take the time to write you, please have the common manners to at least write back. If I took the effort to try, and think you are worth the effort, you can at least acknowledge it.

I do not mind long distance within reason (two hours or so) as in a few years I will finish my degree and be able to move where I want and get a good paying job. I am however buying a four bedroom house later this year, just tired of renting, but we can always have a Savannah home..:) I know we all have issues, but I do not want to be your superman, I cannot rescue you, and I do not need anyone to save me, I take care of myself. We all have baggage, but like someone once told me, is it in a case we can carry by a handle, or is it around our neck making us stumble with every step we take.

And yes, I am a published poet...just ask me and I will prove it.

If I failed to cover anything, please just ask...LOL

Oh, and I have a good job and my own car, since that seems to be a issue...LOL

Poem for Thanksgiving

BE THANKFUL

To all my absent friends
Until we meet once again,
May life bring you more joy
Than it brings you sorrow.

May your dreams come true
And to your call hearken to you,
That you may see their fulfillment
Soon for all those you love.

Be with a smile and of good cheer
Let those you pass in your voice them hear,
Share the happiness in your heart
That life has given to you.

Be thankful for all the good life has shown
And for what you do not have do not groan,
But give thanks for the things you can’t possess
Love of family and friends in life is the best.

I would like to meet somewhere for a coffee, milkshake or a light dinner, and if things go good from there a nice walk in a square or along the river. I would hope we would enjoy talking so much we would forget the time, and have to race home before the sunlight caught us, but we would be longing to see each other again. Oh, I took ballroom dancing lessons a few years ago, but I have not had anyone to dance with...could you possibly be my partner?
