Laughter, integrity and kindness are a few important ingredients to developing good relationships, and yet, these are also overlooked, taken for granted and at worst, dismissed as unimportant. As Maria Von Trapp would say, "These are a few of my favorite things." I also like to laugh a lot (too much, some would say).

If my friends were to describe me, they would invariably say, "She's so NICE!!!" It's great that it is they who speak and not I, since my philosophy in life is, "If you have to say it, you ain't it!!!"

I am interested in meeting a good friend who doesn't mind that I laugh like a donkey, and if you're looking for someone like me, give me a shout. It would be a pleasure to meet you!

Because we're supposed to include a list of interests, please see the following:

1. Travel to places near (Athens, TX) and far (Athens, Greece);
2. Read good books - biographies and anything by Carl Hiassen;
3. Swim laps at a pool near my home;
4. Tap dance (two words: totally.awesome.);
5. Spend time with/cook for family and friends;
6. Pick peaches and make jam;
7. Watch documentaries;
8. Go to the movies;
9. Attend sporting events; and
10. Make endless home repairs (endless...)

As for taste in music, anything goes, even opera (seriously) :o)

Hanging out with me will probably involve one or more of the following: conversation, coffee (lots of it), a walk in the park/at the beach/around the neighborhood, a plate of Tex-Mex or a really good hamburger :o)
