I am only here because my children made me....So, here it is in a nutshell, more or less. I am an conundrum. I can go from yard/garden work to the Opera and just about everything in between, including hanging out with friends for a football game to just being at home with a movie or a book. I am a faithful christian with broken faith. I am a camper and fisher (although, admittedly not a very good fisher) and I enjoy art and science as well. I grew up with cops, motorcycles, classic cars and military, on the other hand, I also enjoy more intellectual pursuits. I am active physically and enjoy a good hike among other things. I also like to 2 step and would learn to do more if I had a patient partner. I sing, but I can't read music or play an instrument. I am sometimes gullible and sometimes cynical and ever the optimist and exceptionally intelligent and opinionated. I read everything from literary classics to the occassional trashy novel and I enjoy them all (including sci fi/fantasy and thrillers). I try to keep up with current events and I am a middle of the road conservative.

I don't expect any one person to be "into" all of the same things that I am, that is why I have many different friends. I want someone who wants to play in this adventure that life is supposed to be.

Everyone has a phrase that they want to live up to, this is mine:
