I am back on here for a spell - last year I met some very nice folks here, but alas - apparently - not 'the one' because I have returned. But all is good.

I am an actor/director/writer based in Halifax, having moved over to Canada 11 years ago... I moved from the UK and have been very lucky to find a career here and friends.

I am a settled/calm guy, with a nice home and a good (if sometimes strange) lifestyle. I get to entertain and make people laugh & cry for a living and there's nothing better than that!

I have got to the point now (at my age, that's the point) where I know what I like, I like trying new things and meeting folks, and I am fully aware of my personality, strengths and weaknesses. Are you?

I do describe myself as sane (despite my profession!) and funny...(but that's a matter of opinion). I believe I am a good catch and am at a stage of life where I can say that without feeling like a complete tool! I am a very hard worker, but think I have a lot to offer in my personal life...

The last time I was on here I had the very clever idea of hijacking the harbour hopper for a day...That idea is SO 2008. I need to get better at thinking of 'first dates'....

I will start to think of something new and exciting... But for now. Let's get a meeting over with and successfully executed.

I say a 30 minute meeting - if we like each other, either person can suggest a repeat meeting very soon, but 30 minutes to see if there's a spark, some interest, attraction or something worth an ACTUAL date...
