I have had very unique and unusual life experiences. Have traveled around the world picking up many different skills and loves. I am constantly challenging myself and learning new things. I have a strong desire to get to the bottom of things. To really find out what they are about. You won’t meet anyone like me –For better or worse- (insert chuckles here).
I have a great sense of humor. Try not to look or act my age. Can be very serious and very silly. Sometimes at the same time.

I tend to try to turn bad experiences into good ones. Or at least learning experiences. Parts of my life have been very hard, but I would not trade them for anything. They have made me who I am and given me my unique vision of the world. I would not trade it for ANYTHING and am very proud of it. I tend to think if you are unhappy with your life – you are the only one to blame. I am not perfect, nor do I pretend to be. I think it would be boring, actually.

I am very protective of my friends and family. The sense of “home” is very important to me. I have a very acute sense of detail. Sometimes I am too hard on myself. I take what ever I do seriously. Not try not to take myself too seriously.

Degree in painting from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Graduate work in Performance Art as well as Writing and Poetics. Gallery owner and pro photographer. I received a food writing scholarship to the Culinary Institute of America where I just graduated first in my class. I have worked as a Chef and a wine specialist. I just moved back to the Napa Valley to work in the wine business and study Viticulture.

My three loves in life are Food, Wine and Art. I love to cook for people who appreciate it. It is how I show my love. I love great wines and I love to paint. I love to find small "hole in the wall" food places. I like to junk shop.

My favorite thing to eat is the next meal I make for someone special. I like to sit in-front of a nice fire with someone that likes me, sharing some great wine and smiles.

What I am writing, What to cook next, How colors interact, Where I am in relationship to the Universe, Fine Wines, How much time I spend thinking about things, Which came first- The chicken or the egg and new ways to cook them.
