"What" you say??? Yes it is true. I have been banned from Boca. I do not have a need for designer labels and high-heeled shoes, I do not believe in cosmetic surgery, I think lots of makeup is for special occaisions or a costume party, and dining every night in high-priced restaurants is unappetizing. Good company, enlightening conversations and having an easy-going and healthy lifestyle is what is important. Remember the smell of fresh cut grass, the look a child gets when it learns something new and getting your face licked by a litter of puppies? These too are important!

I am in the best place in my life - mentally, physically, emotionally as well as financially. I am a very happy and independent person who looks for the positive in every situation. I break a heel, then I go barefoot. My friends envy my humor, spontaneity and my desire to learn new things. So you may find me at the driving range improving my slice or at the theater watching a live feed from the Metropolitan Opera. My interests are far more than the few listed above - life should be experienced, not just lived. I volunteer for the Florida Humane Society and recently joined the American Orchid Society. I do most of my own home repairs, enjoy gardening and making fused glass art pieces in my home studio. My family and friends are paramount in my life, and we enjoy playing cards, board games, movies and interesting conversations. It is more important that we spend time together than what we actually are doing.

In a nutshell, I am looking for a gentleman to share future adventures. Like my favorite pair of jeans, I am looking for the man with style, comfort and fit. Should I not be to your liking, good luck with your search. Let's all be happy before 12/21/2012!

PPS - I am also 56. When I left double nickels in the dust I stopped getting viewed. Please forgive me for wanting someone to be interested in me for me and not overlook me just because my age did not fit within their age span.

Forget the romantic walk on the beach at sunset - we would have no privacy with all those other couples walking the beach...Forget the candlelight dinner with us gazing into each others eyes - I need full light to read the menu - don't you? Let's keep it real and light and fun. If there is chemistry there will be time for all the rest.
