| | Hmmm... what can I say. You know what I'll tell you a true story and you can come to your own conclusion afterward.
Once upon a time in the winter of 2008 I was sleeping humbly in my room when suddenly I was awaken by a loud BANG! It was so loud I literally fell of my bed (yeah I know ha ha, whatever :p) Anyway, after getting up I sort of paused for minute to make sure I wasn't dreaming and that the world wasn't ending which it wasn't so I look out my window and I saw a car in my neighbours front lawn on top of a tree that it knocked down. Naturally I rushed down and outside to make sure who ever was driving was OK and thank God she was. So I went and got a snow shovel and tried digging her car out of the pile of snow she was in and tried driving her car out but unfortunately she ran over this tree good and it wasn't showing any mercy. So I took her inside my house and called and waited for a tow truck to come. When it arrived the guy wanted to call the police but this girl was scared shitless since it was her parents car and she probably wasn't suppose to be out 3 in the morning and probably a little tipsy from what I could tell. Anyway, I convince the guy to just to pull out her car and that I'll talk to the neighbours in the morning about the tree. So he does that and this poor girl only has a debit card on her so I pay the guy $60 and he heads on his way after getting her car on the road. She apparently lived about a kilometer away from me so I told her that I will at least follow her in my car until she got home. Her car made and she was OK and the next day I talked to the neighbors and this past summer helped them re-plant a new tree.
That's the kind of person I am. I treat people with the care and respect that I would like to be treated, regardless even if it's not reciprocated. Recently I got a new job working downtown again and as I walked to work I see some homeless people and as much as I like working downtown it just hurts to see people like that when I have so much. So one morning on my way to work, I decided that I'd put these burger king coupons I got in the mail to good use and just bought like 4 meals and just dropped them off beside people I saw sleeping on the sidewalks on my way to work and you know, it's funny how if you walk right past these people everyone looks at you and treats you normal but when you stop for a second and give them some food they look at you like you're crazy. It's not called being crazy; it's called being human.
I'm an independent guy who believes life in general is about learning and growing as a person. I go with the flow and don't plan anything because I believe that you should only make plans if you want to make God laugh. I rather tend to set goals and whether I reach those goals or not doesn't matter, I still enjoy life as much as I can pursuing them.
I'm a nice guy and probably not your type but that's OK. I hope you find the guy you're looking for and if by chance you don't or you get one disappointment after the other, remember that you have to kiss a lot of ugly frogs before you find your prince, and believe me, that prince is there. You just have to give him a second look because you'll pass him the first time around.
