Here are some questions I have been asked to answer in the past.

1. What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about all forms of art, from photography and paintings to sculpture and music. I see the artistic value and beauty in everything. My environment is very important to me. There is a peaceful lifestyle and attitude that comes with living near the beach that I love. I am also passionate about personal growth, both my own and what I am able to teach others. Travel is also a passion of mine, and I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively across many parts of the world. I love everything about traveling and make new friends everywhere I go.

2. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
1. I am thankful for my friends as we are a great group of tight knit people. Unfortunately we are scattered across the US, and I wish we all lived closer together.
2. I am thankful for the opportunity to volunteer my time and make a difference in the community. I work with at-risk kids as well as inmates, helping them to access the good in themselves and showing them the difference they can make.
3. I am thankful for my good health, that I feel good, and that everything works!

3. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
The most influential person in my life was a teacher named Angeles Arrien. She is an anthropologist, author, educator and consultant who gives lectures about the bridge between cultural anthropology, psychology and comparative religions. She taught me how to live with integrity, how to walk softly on the Earth and live a spiritual life with practical feet.

6. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person:
The most important quality I am looking for in a partner is patience. Along with the patience should be a peacefulness of spirit that keeps them at ease with the world. She can sit in traffic and enjoy the view, and be calm with the waitress is struggling a little bit. She knows who she is and what she stands for, but is very flexible and easy to get along with.

7. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing people notice about you?
They notice that I am very easy to get along with and I am a good listener.

8: What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?
People can’t possibly know or see my truest nature when we first meet and I would like them to know right away that I am the good guy that I seem to be.

9. How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I enjoy walking the beach and collecting sea glass or just enjoying the fresh air and sounds of the surf. Taking road trips is a great way to spend a weekend. I do a lot of photography and am an advanced semi-pro. I enjoy doing community service and working with at-risk youth. On the weekends, I like going to flea markets and garage sales, even if I don’t buy anything. Reading, long walks and enjoying music at small, intimate venues are also ways I enjoy spending my time.

11. Describe the last book you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
The last book I read was “I’m Off Then: Losing and Finding Myself on the Camino de Santiago” by Hape Kerkeling and Shelley Frisch. It’s about Kerkeling’s pilgrimage across the Pyrenees to the Spanish shrine of St. James, which is undertaken by nearly 100,000 people every year. I have thought of doing this journey myself and read a couple of books on the subject. I like the idea of rediscovering myself or reinventing who I might be.

12. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know.
I have two legal names: one that I use in my day to day life and one that I use as my artist name. They were both given to me at birth.

13. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?
I do have other things I would like to let my matches know, but they are my deepest dreams and desires and I would like to save them for a more intimate conversation.
