Fun loving woman who is looking for someone who loves to smile and laugh as much as I do.

First, have to ask... was it as hard for you to do this section as it was for me? I am not a salesman, nor do I wish to be one. I am just me.. a caring, loving person who wears her heart on her sleeve. I am fiercely loyal and will fight for what I believe in but know how to compromise as well.

There is so much more to me than any words on this page can tell but I will try... and I guess that is a good place to start. I will try just about anything once. I am outgoing but know where to draw the line, adventerous, not careless. I grew up in a large family (with 5 brothers) so I know how to take a joke and to give it right back -- can be very sarcastic, but always with the absence of malice. Laughter is essential and if you can't laugh at yourself then don't be laughing at others!(just one of the pearls of wisdom from grandma)

I am far from perfect and don't expect that others are either. But I do expect honesty. Without that, well.. enough said.

I am a down to earth realist with my heads in the clouds... yes a contradiction. But that is me a contradiction. I am as comfortable in an evening dress as i am in my jeans. I work hard for what I want but I play hard, too.

I have learned over the years that people from all walks of life are essentially the same... we all want to be loved and respected for ourselves. And, being a nurse, I can guarantee that once you get past the skin, we all look alike on the inside. True beauty is in the soul, not the body. I want a partner in life. I want to be loved as much as I love him. I am looking for someone who smiles everytime I walk in the room, even on a bad hair day.

I don't watch much tv, unless it is football season, lol.. but music is essential. I admit, I sing along with the radio in the car! (and the shower and have even caught myself doing it in the grocery store, yikes). And the type doesn't matter.. but i do draw the line at rap and whinny country.

At first I wrote all kinds of things, which you will see below. Then I realized.. first date, not all of them! So, hmm... let me think.. first date. Well, I know I will be nervous so it should be something low pressure. How about a place where we can have some private space to talk and get to know each other and yet still be very public? (gotta think safe, here.. just the facts) Yeah, easier said than done. But, I am picturing an outside cafe or seating.. a drink, maybe an appetizer. Quiet conversation getting to know each other... letting the smiles calm the nerves. Or a walk along the canal ... And if we hit it off we can take it from there.

So, here are some ideas for later.... Let's throw something on the grill and hang out with friends while we watch a football game or.... we could just snuggle on the couch while watching a movie after cooking dinner together ... or dance in front of the fireplace ... or head out for a walk in the woods, I love to be outdoors ... a festival or charity event ... a wine tasting ... or have friends over for dinner ... or miniature golf (would try regular golf but never have done that before) ... heck.. let's go skydiving.. or... you pick.. as long as we laugh and have fun!!
