My friends would describe me as quiet, weird (and according to my sister, random people who have met me describe me this way too, though they apparently mean it in a good way), geeky, smart and cheap or frugal (depending on which friend you ask.) I've also been called by someone, with the all sincerity they could muster, a "dork".

I'd add to that list independent, self-sufficient, inquisitive, goal-oriented, clean and shy.

It's the shy part that has me on this website.

My idea of fun ranges from sitting at home on the couch in my pajamas with my dog watching one of my favourite movies, yet again to going for two hour walks or bike rides around the city; from having a couple Jack and Diet Cokes and dancing my ass off to bad music at the bar to having couple of coffees and sitting on my ass on a comfortable chair at a coffee shop. I really like to have conversations, hear people's opinions, learn new things and perhaps experience something new.

To finish off this profile ... it always seemed a bit ominous to me to put that I "do drugs socially" but it would be a lie to say that I don't do any at all and so to clarify what that means in my case - sometimes I smoke a bit of mull now and then but have no real interest in anything else. If I am going to ruin my body and my life with anything it will be food. Delicious, luxurious food!

I suspect the most common and easiest thing to do is coffee. It's the non-date drink of choice and is good no matter what the weather is like outside. In the good weather a walk is something nice to do and in the not-so-nice weather, well, coffee is always a good choice. If you can think of something better though I'm game.
