I have many varied interests – you’ll never hear me say “there’s nothing to do!”

I was self-employed for a while and many of my clients were local bands and several are still great friends. It has been a great pleasure to be along for the ride for one group’s rise from local cover band to national artists. We get together often and I sometimes spend time on tour with them. I enjoy going to see live music.

My daughter is young (9 in August, 2009) and makes me proud constantly. She is such a generous and caring soul. I recently got to see her win a couple games in state softball finals. My ex moved to Virginia, and although the distance makes it difficult I see her about every other weekend. I have a great working relationship with my ex – we take turns with the driving for visits, I get along fine with her and her husband, and there’s no drama. We spend a lot of time swimming in the summer, and she loves board games like Mega Monopoly. Straight A’s this year!

I recently set up a music room in my house for my daughter and I to learn guitar together. I ended up getting 3 guitars (electric, bass, and electric acoustic), amps, lesson books/DVDs… and of course headphones! Down time at home is now practice time – having a blast!

I like to get out for bike rides – B&A trail, NPR trail, the beach… just load the bike and go. I enjoy gym time and love to play racquetball. Love to ski in the winter, but still stick to the greens and blues.

I love to grill on the deck, watch movies on the home theater, and have friends over for game nights. I am always starting and finishing projects. I’m nearly done painting inside and love it. Next I’ll be updating bathrooms and the kitchen!

I thoroughly enjoy my work. I am a web/application developer, but also work in many areas of media (print, video, etc.). I am usually very busy – the work is creative, challenging, and exact. I enjoy the luxury of working exclusively from home.

My life has been full of great experiences (so many stories!), and I have definitely grown with the lessons they have provided. I never take the easy path – but I like to think I choose the right path. It’s a great feeling to know you’ve built the kind of life you wanted.

I am a former Marine Corps Sergeant (without the chest-thumping and tattoos!) and I would certainly say it was one of the best choices I’ve made in my life. Many things became possible after I completed my five years in the military.

I tend to be very flexible and love last-minute plans to do something fun. I like to be active and have a lot of energy. I am pretty steadfast when it comes to my personal integrity. I am very open and have an inner strength that I rely on. I don’t worry about things that can happen – I know I can handle it whatever it is!

A relationship has always been an important aspect of my life and I have worked hard to be the kind of person a partner could be proud to be with. I want to be a partner in a team – not a leader or a follower. We’ll take turns with that!

I truly believe that we can all meet someone that complements who we are and enhances our daily lives. I also feel that the 'fun' of a new relationship never has to be lost. Every day is an adventure and a chance to explore life together, to share our interests.

You know who you are, what you want, and expect a lot out of life. You make mistakes, learn from them, and move on. You are naturally happy, and can be happy pursuing your interests when no one else is around. You are concerned about those around you and your friends and family find comfort in your presence.

We’ll have a natural flow together, and be able to talk about anything. We are mutually supportive and always ‘have each other’s back’. We’ll explore our interests together and widen each other’s view on the world. We’ll enjoy time with friends and family. Most importantly, we’ll have a LOT of fun – whatever we’re doing!
