Looking for someone to have a relationship with can be extremely difficult with a largely growing population and new interests arising everyday. It can sometimes get difficult to even tell the difference between people with all the groups and stereotypes this hateful world has introduced to our youth... Hi, I'm Matt, and I am an individual. Many people forget about the word 'individual' these days, as if it never existed. However, now more than ever I think it is one of the most important words in the English language and should be expressed more often to help remind our youth that the media shouldn't be this big influence that the government makes it out to be. Just be yourself, which is how I feel.
In my free time, I enjoy doing the same old boring things you do, such as flipping through the channels on my TV set, flipping through the songs on the radio, eating, and sleeping. However, about 6 months ago I realized how out of shape I was feeling and beginning to appear. I have never been big, but I literally felt like a dying blob of waste just waiting to be disposed of. It was at that point where I got a membership to X-Sport and started making physical fitness my life, and I plan on using that someday when I go back to college to become an elementary PE teacher, as well as a personal trainer on the side.
In my future, I hope to become a role model for tomorrow's youth and help guide them to leading healthy and respectable lives, something that I had to learn the hard way. I also plan on starting a family of my own someday if I find my soul mate and I feel it is the right time and place for doing so. Not for many years though. I also hope to learn guitar and begin writing some of my own music/lyrics, I have wanted to do this for years but still haven't found the time or motivation, but I feel now more than ever that I really want to start because music is a way of expressing yourself, and music is my life!
When you meet me, you will realize that I am different from every other guy you will ever meet. Yeah, I know you read that time and time again, but I know I am different. First off, I don't have to have everyone at a given location to like me...although I always try my hardest to be the best person that I can be, I don't feel that pleasing everyone is the most important thing. In fact, I would rather have less people who are close then to have more people just holding me back. I only have 2 or 3 people that I call on a normal basis to do things, all of them are guys, and I like it that way because it still gives me a chance to live my life and do the things I want to do, which not many people enjoy doing the things that I find important to keep myself happy and healthy.
Like I said, music is my life.. actually expression through music is my life. I enjoy music of all kinds as long as I can 'feel' and find deep meaning in both the lyrics and the music... some of my favorites include Atreyu, Lil' Wayne, Escape The Fate, Slipknot, Offspring, Young Jeezy, Eminem and Avenged Sevenfold.
