I sit here and wonder……does it really matter what someone writes in their profile? I only ask because most profiles read like carbon copies. I have not read any profiles of men. So at the risk of being a dime a dozen……… I am a 33, divorced, father of 2 (they are with me most of the time). My son is 13 and my daughter is 11. I know, fun ages right? They are, and always will be the largest part of my life. I guess I could be described as: fun, loving, compassionate, dependable, trustworthy, loyal, and sometimes a little silly and crazy. Driven, persistent, happy…….:) I try to be direct and honest in every aspect. I am very open minded, yet opinionated (but don’t confuse that with my ability to shut up and listen). I listen to most types of music, will give any movie a chance (oh, except that movie “Broke something hill,” yea you know the one), and will try most foods. Disclaimer: won’t eat anything with Oyster in the name. Rather fried, raw or “Mountain,” I just can’t eat them. When I watch TV I like watching NCIS, CSI, 2 ½ men, Sons of Anarchy, Dirty Jobs, Mentalist, UFC…… I, like most, can have fun doing just about anything. For me it’s more about who I am with, not so much what we are doing. I enjoy days at the park, lake, museum, amusement park, zoos, bowling, movies, BBQ, UFC PPV, pool hall, an old plantation, weekend getaway, family/friend time, even time at home just being……. I am not really into the club scene anymore. But do enjoy getting out. Of course I like spontaneity, but find that to be a little hard as a single parent. The fact that I am a 33 divorced single parent tells you my life has not gone exactly as planned. Learn from the past, promote the present and strive for a better future. So, what am I looking for/hope to find? I would like the following attributes in women: direct, open minded, out spoken (no, not loud and rude), ambitious, kind, and most important, knows her own direction. I get everyone has, and needs their own identity. I find myself attracted to smaller women. Thin - average build I guess. But, I am open. I know finding that perfect someone may never happen.
