Okay...so I feel the need to specify right off the bat...

Disclaimer: My time is pretty limited at the moment. If I meet someone on here that I click with well via email I'd be willing to meet up and take it from there. My MSN is acting up at the moment (it will let me receive but not send messages) so initial contact is limited to email.

I love to laugh and joke around. Nothing beats a night of great conversation filled with interesting material and incessant laughter. lol. I love the feeling of "Omg...has it really been a few hours?! Where'd the evening go?" lol. Conversation is something important to me. It's something I want in my friends and anything beyond friends. They have to be able to carry a conversation. They also have to be willing to answer things beyond "I don't know." lol.

My dream guy has a personality of his own and isn't willing to morph into whatever seems to be the popular decision at the time. He should have morals, values, and be true to himself even if it means you don't always look cool. I have a theory that "cool" (in the way high school defines it)is just a synonym for "acting like an idiot" anyways. lol.

I want to find someone who's comfortable with who they are, and doesn't feel the need to be like everyone else.

I love downhill skiing but I can't snowboard to save my life...lol. (Yes...I've tried. It didn't go well...lol. *cough*concussion*cough*...note to self: don't try and learn to snowboard on a blackdiamond in Fernie!!! Dumbass!)

The type of person I'm looking to meet: Nice, sweet, responsible guy. Not afraid to act silly. lol. Loves to laugh. I have a thing for older guys...but it's more the personality associated with that than the age itself. I love fun, goofing around, etc...but I don't like immature things. I don't think stealing is cool, your mom doing your laundry is definitely not sexy, if you intend to steal lawn gnomes this weekend don't tell me, I'm not impressed by your awful record of driving infractions, skipping class is irresponsible but everyone does it from time to time (the less, the better). I don't think 64% is a good mark, I think that hanging out with your friends before your midterm instead of studying (when you haven't opened the textbook in who knows how long) is dumb, and I don't pretend that I think it's cool. lol.

I'm taking school part time at RRC and U of W. Human Resources (HR) & Project Management (PM) @ Red River and Kinesiology/Exercise Science @ U of W. I'm not enrolled @ RRC for this semester...I'm enrolled in 2 courses @ U of W though. I have a respectable full-time office job and work M-F. Education is both for professional advancement as well as personal interest.

I'd prefer to meet someone who is finished school, but realistically it doesn't matter. I admire people who like to learn whether it's through school, work, or life. Anything and everything. I'd love to meet someone who can teach me things as well. I love to learn!

I like people who are secure with themselves, not looking to change who they are to impress me, and knows what they want in life. Taking an interest in each other's passions and hobbies isn't "changing to impress"...interest is a good thing...but there's a line...lol. I want someone who knows that a relationship is supposed to be a part of their life...it shouldn't be their entire life. I don't want a dozen phone calls a day, I don't want to see someone every single day unless I live with them, and just because I have the night off doesn't mean that I want to automatically spend it with my boyfriend. I think it's very important to have time to have a life outside of a relationship. Everyone has stuff they need to get done, everyone enjoys time to relax by themselves sometimes, and everyone needs to hang out alone with their friends from time to time. I want someone who wants to have a life besides their life with me.

I think intelligence is sexy, eyes and smiles are the most important features, and anyone who can make me laugh is bound to get a better response. lol. People who seem incapable of making eye contact give me a sketchy feeling. Then again...total strangers who stare me in the eye give me a bit of a chill as well. lol.

I'm not impressed by fancy cars (but you should have one...make and model are irrelevant. I don't want to play chauffeur all of the time), muscles, money, and superficial/shallow crap. Please don't try and impress me with it...or I'll think you were too lazy to read my description. lol.

Also...guys that try too hard is a turn off. Cheesy lines are awesome when they're used in a joking around/playing manner. Don't try and kiss me an hour into our first date. I'm not going to sleep with you until I actually want to...so don't even try. lol. Oh...and...for the record...sex isn't a hobby. Everybody likes sex. That's obvious! Putting it as a hobby in your profile makes you look either: a) like a player, b) dirty, c) insecure, or d) like you're trying to impress your buddies. While on the sex subject...if you've slept with half of Winnipeg--this isn't gonna work out. I want to feel special in a relationship and frankly...if you've slept with half the city...you don't exactly have high standards...so that would make me what? Umm, no thanks.

If you list "drinking" and "partying" as a hobby...I doubt I'll be interested. lol. Don't get me wrong...I like to go have fun just as much as the next person...and ya, I drink and like to have a good time...but I also know how to have fun without being intoxicated.

I like to be active and get out and enjoy myself. You should too! lol.

I'd like to meet someone who's fit and eats well. McDonalds isn't dinner. lol. No six pack required but you should take care of yourself. I play sports, run/jog, go to the gym, go to the beach, etc...I need a guy who can keep up!

First dates are so awkward. lol. You don't know what to say...everyone's slightly nervous because they have no idea what the other person is thinking, etc...
I hate that. lol.

Let's skip that and get right to the stage where we chat like we've known each other for a long while and it's totally relaxed. lol.

As for first dates...I'd say coffee is probably best. Casual atmosphere where you can sit and talk for a while! lol.
