I haven't heard much about this site one way or the other, but thought I'd give it a try. Thanks for taking a look.

So....a little about me: My name is Chris and I have my own law office in Morristown. My practice is primarily criminal defense, with a good amount of municipal court, some personal injury and miscellaneous litigation. I love what I do, especially working for myself, but it can very stressful at times. I suppose I'm a "people person", but my clients can drive me insane sometimes.

Believe it or not, my hours are usually reasonable, so I have a time to enjoy myself. I like to start my day with a good workout. At this point, keeping fit is just part of my life: I don't even think about it, I just do it (sorry if I sound like a Nike ad). I try to watch my diet as much as possible, but of course you have to live!

Which leads me to my next interest: food. I love finding a new spot for a great meal. BYO's are my favorite, and I go to a lot of places in Montclair because of that. Cooking is a fun for me as well. Maybe I can make something for you sometime. ....

Music is a true passion of mine, and I try to see as many shows as I can. I recently saw Moby out in Brooklyn and U2 at Giants Stadium, planning on seeing Ray LaMontagne soon, oh...and Social Distortion....I start my day with musicand listen all day at my desk. Jazz, chill-out, alternative, metal, opera, classical, pretty much everything except country (but I do love old Johnny Cash)

I think friends would describe me as well-rounded and knowledgeable. At a party, I usually have something in common to discuss with everyone there. I strive to constantly learn and improve myself.

There's nothing wrong with a good book from time to time (trying to finish Einstein's biography right now), but I read quite a few magazines and I at least scan the paper every day (Star Ledger or NYT). Cigar Aficionado, GQ, Golf Digest, Men's Health, Food & Wine and I think one or two more.

I want to travel and see the world, but it's difficult for me to get away for more than a few days. I was in Prague last summer; I've been to Iceland, London and an island or two. Italy is at the top of my list, along with New Zealand.

Oh yeah, my sense of humor. Dry, sarcastic at times and witty. Family Guy is my favorite show, if that tells you anything.

So, what am I looking for? To begin someone who is STABLE, both emotionally and professionally. I have absolutely had it with drama and histrionics. As for your career, it would be great if you made a few dollars, but not a necessity. You are successful, meaning you are good at what you do and like your job.

Please be in shape. Exercise is lifestyle choice for me, like smoking. I won't date a smoker; I won't date someone who doesn't take care of their body.

You're outgoing, well-dressed and fun to be around. You can plan a date or a weekend trip. You can cook. You enjoy doing things for others. You know how to take care of a man. Sophistication and an appreciation for the finer things are great, but you don't need to be high-end all the time.

A quick note on communication: I detest text messaging. The worst trend of the last five years. It's fine for saying hi, but that's it. The same for email. You're going to have to call me.
